Collaborators of pop-up events and private parties in Austin since 2013, the team behind L’Oca d’Oro (Golden Goose) came to us with a grand vision of a soon-to-be well-known Italian Brasserie. With a hot location in the up-and-coming Mueller neighborhood, we worked closely with the founders to design a look fit for this new, energetic urban village.

Branding and Creative

Inspired by the Arts & Crafts movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the team wanted to focus on vintage colors and beautiful florals. Fulfilling needs of both interior and exterior design, it was an exciting opportunity to merge this aesthetic for an upscale Italian Brasserie feel with neighborhood appeal. We jumped in with warm colors and modern geometric shapes of the Art Nouveau. The patterns we worked with provided a wonderful opportunity to add elegance and class to a family setting.

Setting the mood for fun and the full plates of Chef Tedesco’s family-style format, we were thrilled to design a logo based on his daughter’s nickname, “Lucy Goose.” We brought the Golden Goose to life on interior collateral and in a memorable sign decorating the exterior of the restaurant.
